Deepest Condolences to Senator Renee Unterman
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Senator Renee Unterman's son on Friday, February 20, 2009. Please see below for details on the service.
Funeral Arrangements for Zachariah Unterman
A graveside service was held at 12:00 noon, Monday, February 23, 2009, at Arlington Cemetery, 201 Mount Vernon Highway NW, Atlanta, GA 30328.A reception followed immediately at the Hitson Activities Center of Sandy Springs United Methodist Church, located across from the church at 85 Mount Vernon Highway NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30328.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Zachariah be made to Angela's House and sent to the care of the Juvenile Justice Fund (395 Pryor Street, Suite 1025, Atlanta Georgia 30312).
Senator Unterman will sit Shiva, the traditional Jewish custom of receiving guests at the home of mourning. Beginning on Tuesday, February 24, friends and family can contact her office at 404-656-5040 for days and times when she will receive visitors at home at 3212 Cloudland Court, Buford, GA 30519
Peg Murray of GGRW has made arrangements with Gwinnett Republicans and other friends to visit Renee at the traditional Shiva during the week of February 24. GGRW women will be visiting Sunday afternoon, March 1.

UNTERMAN, Zachariah Zachariah "Zak" Albert Unterman, age 25, of Buford, GA died February 20, 2009. He is survived by his mother, Senator Renee Stovall Unterman, father, Dr. Marc I. Unterman; sister, Rachel Elizabeth Unterman; aunt, Rita Stovall, Bonafay, FL; Uncle, Walter Stovall, Greenville, SC; uncle, Robert Stovall, Loganville, GA; Uncle, Mickey Stovall, Between, GA and many cousins.
