GGRW Members Enjoy the June 4-5 GFRW Board Meeting

Randy Evans gave a powerful and inspiring speech at the luncheon which included some very interesting inside information about some of his prestigious clients which include Senator Zell Miller, Speaker Dennis Hastert, Newt Gingrich, and many others.

Sue Everhart, Program Chairman for GFRW, continues to do an excellent job of selecting interesting speakers for all of these meetings. Sue is also 6th District Chairman of the GA GOP.

RNC and National Committeewoman

Linda Herren, National Committeewoman Elect explained the functions of the RNC and promised to keep us updated on all RNC news after she assumes office. She plans to utilize her new web site as a communications tool for this purpose -- www.herren4georgiarnc.org . She will be installed as the Georgia NCW on September 3 at the end of the National Convention in New York.

New Campaign Finance Laws

Of special interest to everyone was the presentation on the new Campaign Finance laws by Stefan Passantino of the law firm of McKenna, Long, and Aldridge. Randy Evans, attorney for the GA GOP (and many others), is also affiliated with this firm. Stefan gave a great slide show presentation and said that he would e-mail us the PP attachment for this.

Tammy Cowen of the 200+ member Cobb RWC gave a great motivational speech outlining how a woman can achieve against all odds in business. Her rags to riches story was most inspiring, and her enthusiastic and animated presentation was VERY well received. Her highly successful company is Infomart, an employee screening company. Sue calls her the "Queen of Screen."
