GFRW Spring Board Meeting Lanier Island - Legacy Resort April 24 - 25, 2009
GGRW President Sara Snyder and Corresponding Secretary Bettye Chambers attended the April 24 - 25 GFRW Board meeting at beautiful Lake Lanier Island's Legacy Lodge. There were a number of outstanding speakers and candidates on the program Friday afternoon and Saturday.  Many of the ladies enjoyed the Friday evening boat ride on Lake Lanier.     The major item of business was the election of delegates at large to attend the September NFRW National Convention in Orlando on September 13 - 15, 2009. Delegates at large elected from GFRW were: Bobbie Frantz Judy True Reva Jennings Suzi Voyles Sandra Johnson Bettye Chambers Peggy Green Alternate Delegates:   Sheila Galbreath and Sahar Hermati Each club president will also be a delegate to the convention. The Nominating Committee for 2009 -11 officers met, and GGRW President Sara Snyder was on that committee. Sue Everhart spoke to the group and thanked everyone for their kind condolences on the passing of her mother recently.  The GFRW  presented Sue a resolution commending her for her many years of hard work for Republicans.  Sue asked for everyone's support at the May 16 State Convention in Savannah.  She announced her campaign website at www.SuesTheOneAgain.org
