October 14, 2013 Meeting
Rosanna Szabo, Gwinnett Solicitor General|
For the past year, GGRW has had the honor to welcome Women Making a Difference to our monthly gatherings. October’s meeting was a continuation of this trend, as Rosanna Szabo, Gwinnett’s Solictor General, shared with the members and guests how she makes a difference in the judicial system, the community, and in her family’s life. We have known Rosanna from a long association with GGRW and enjoyed her being with us on October 14. It was a most informative presentation by Rosanna!

September 9, 2013 Meeting
Speaker: Carolyn Fisher,
GGRW member Carolyn Hall Fisher recounted her one month long trip to Africa complete with slides of life and animals in Africa. She told stories of hikes through the wilderness with no amenities, close encounters with lions on the hunt, elephant rides and sighting, and meeting and sharing with African children and learning joy from them. She also told about the marriage proposal from an African chieftain. It was a delightful and very interesting presentation.
We also heard from Libby Kingston who told us about her husband Jack who is running for U.S. Senate. Senate candidate David Perdue was also represented at this meeting. Teresa Cantrell also attended and announced that she was running for GA House to replace Donna Sheldon who is running for the U.S. Senate.
August 12, 2013 Meeting
Prisca Villa did a great job with her Social Media Presentation which covered Facebook, You tube and Twitter. She emphasized their use as marketing tools for spreading our message. Everyone there learned more about these popular programs. She used her very informative Social Media PDF presentation.
