   (Columbus, GA) –  May 18-19, 2012
Three District Delegates and three Alternates 
to national were elected at District Convention on April 14. At State Convention in Columbus in May, 31 Delegates at Large and 31 Alternates at Large will be elected. A Georgia National Committeeman and a Georgia National Committeewoman to the RNC will also be elected at State. www.GAGOP.org

May 14, 2012 - Linda Herren, Georgia's National Committeewoman
to the RNC will give a report from the RNC and her recent visit to Taiwan on behalf of the RNC.  Linda will be running for re-election as GA NCW at the GA GOP State convention in Columbus on May.18 - 19, 2012

April 9, 2012 - Reports from the 2012 GA Legislative session. Rep. Buzz Brockway,  Rep. Valerie Clark, and Rep. Brett Harrell  spoke about the bills they sponsored during the 2012 session.  They did a great job at the Gold Dome and also a great job of explaining the bills on April 9.

Rep. Valerie gave an animated and interesting presentation to the delights of the audience.

Rep. Brett Harrell of Snellville explains his role in the Ga House withgreat  animation which delighted Joan Zellner.

 Rep. Buzz Brockway explains his bills and answers questions from some of the ladies.  GREAT job by all.
 
March 12 Meeting at O'Charley's in Lawrenceville
Martha Zoller, local conservative radio talk show host, TV political commentator, and current candidate for Congressional District 9, spoke at the GGRW meeting on March 12. Her message was very inspiring. She discussed how her life's experiences readied her for her decision to run for office and answered many questions. She asked for the support of the Republican women in Gwinnett and across the state.  Martha will be the first Republican woman EVER from Georgia to serve in Congress. Update: On Feb. 22, 2012 -- GA House did pass the Charter School Bill and sent it on to the Senate.

Guest speaker Second Vice Chair of the State Republican party, BJ Van Gundy, gave a dynamic presentation on Charter Schools in Georgia as it relates to his position as a former member of the Charter School Commission and former Board Chairman of the GA Charter School Association.

BJ, a long time party principle in both Gwinnett County as well as State and Federal politics, is a former Chair of the Gwinnett Republican party and the 7th congressional District. He is currently personal liaison for the Newt Gingrich presidential campaign.

Our Mission


1. Promoting an informed electorate through political education;
